About Aglaia

Image Consultant | Where identity, style and perception come together

A personal approach to image, focused on how you are seen and experienced, shaped through observation, insight and refinement.

Understanding the Quiet Influence of How We are Seen

I am Aglaia de Bont, image consultant and founder of i4Image.

For more than thirty years, I have worked in professional environments where perception, trust and nuance shape decisions. In conversations, client relationships and moments of leadership, I repeatedly saw how strongly appearance influences what happens next, often before words are even spoken.

Not as something superficial.
But as something deeply human.

With i4Image, I work at the intersection of identity, style and the way you are experienced. I help you understand how you are seen, what you express and how to bring those elements into clearer alignment. Without losing yourself or adopting something that does not feel like you.

How My Perspective Developed

My background lies in commercial and service‑oriented roles, working closely with people, conversations and interaction. Over time, I developed a sharp awareness of what happens before someone speaks.

How someone enters a room.
How they respond.
How tone, posture and appearance quietly shape an impression.

That is where my fascination began. Not with performance, but with perception.

    What Drives Me

In my work, I often meet people who try to adjust or improve themselves, while the real question lies elsewhere.

    Not in who they are,
but in how they are read.
I don’t believe in quick fixes or learned behaviour. I believe in attention, observation and refinement.

My strength lies in noticing where something is slightly out of balance, and how small, precise shifts can bring clarity, ease and credibility.

    How I Work

I work one-to-one with professionals who sense that their appearance can express more of who they truly are.

Not because they want to become someone else.
But because they want what they show to feel coherent with how they think, lead and work.

My approach is both analytical and intuitive. Precise, yet gentle. Real change happens when someone feels recognised, not when they are corrected.
